Application Process

To join our club, print out and complete our membership form and submit it along with your dues to our Membership Chair at one of our monthly meetings. Prospective members will be asked to introduce themselves and explain why they would like to join our club. This gives our members the opportunity to answer any questions an applicant may have about our organization. Application forms submitted at a general meeting will be reviewed by our Executive. Once accepted, the applicant will receive an email welcoming them to the club along with a list of resources of importance.

Renewals

Members are considered 'not in Good Standing' from the conclusion of the last membership term (August 31st) until renewal dues are submitted. Members not in Good Standing are unable to vote at our monthly meetings. Renewal dues are to be delivered to the Membership Chair at the September or October general meeting, the Annual Rock and Gem Show in October, or by special arrangement. Members who have not renewed their membership by November 1st will be removed from the club's roster and be required to re-apply as a new member, should they wish to rejoin the club in the future. Members who have not renewed their membership by September 30th will be unable to access the lapidary workshop at Kyle Centre until the renewal dues have been paid.
